Current and Best Practices in the Arbitral Process: International Arbitration Survey

The 2012 International Arbitration Survey 'Current and Best Practices in the Arbitral Process' is currently being conducted by the School of International Arbitration at Queen Mary, University of London (QMUL) and sponsored by White & Case LLP.

This survey is the fourth carried out by the School of International Arbitration since 2006, as part of a major investigation into arbitration practices and trends worldwide. The subjects of the past international arbitration surveys were corporate attitudes towards arbitration, the enforcement of international awards, and corporate choices in international arbitration.

The 2012 survey is an international empirical study of experiences and views relating to arbitration proceeding. It provides an opportunity to canvas the views of experienced arbitration practitioners, arbitrators and in-house counsel from all over the world, and to test the hypothesis whether a harmonised international arbitration procedure is emerging. The results will be published in September 2012.

Questionnaire 2012

Arbitration counsel, arbitrators, in-house counsel and anyone else with experience in the arbitral process are invited to complete the following confidential questionnaire. It will take approximately 15 minutes to complete. The questionnaire is open until 31 May 2012.
